Privacy: two short logs, no cookies

A page view is logged only when it starts outside this site: you followed a link from a search engine or another website, the link you used was tagged with utm_source, or an AI assistant's fetcher (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and similar) requested the page. Moving around inside NP Board Prep, typing the address yourself and routine crawling leave no entry.

An entry holds the page path, the referrer header and utm tags if present, your IP, the autonomous system number and operator of that IP, the approximate place (country, region, city) Cloudflare matches to it, and the user-agent string. It is written after the page has been sent, so what you see is identical either way.

App and store buttons point to go.nurse-practitioner-boards.com, which writes the tap down before passing you along to the store listing of that exam's app (an exam without an Android app sends Android users to its practice test here). Recorded: which of our pages you tapped from, the exam whose app it is, the operating system your browser reports and the store chosen from it, the moment of the tap, the referrer header and any tags on the link, plus IP, network, rough location with time zone and user agent as above. The store link names this website as the campaign source, which lets Apple and Google count installs that started on NP Board Prep; no identifier of yours travels with it.

Every page is served with the header Referrer-Policy: no-referrer-when-downgrade. So when you open a board's handbook or an app listing from here, that site learns which page of NP Board Prep linked to it, provided it is served over HTTPS. Links to boards and guideline publishers open their sites under their own privacy rules.

Choosing an answer is handled by a script in your browser. The option you pick and the running tally live only in that browser tab; neither leaves your device or survives a page reload.
